It's been a while, but Crimrose is back and having an unproductive summer vacation! *Whoops* A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T ALREADY KNOW. Shining Armour has been plagiarized and posted on Amazon under the title People and Mages: Mage Fire, and is selling for three fucking bucks. Ugh, that's annoying. And with that in mind, I probably won't be posting on fictionpress anymore or anywhere for that matter, so while I have completed Chapter XVIII, I don't know what I'm gonna do with it... it's kind of sitting uselessly on my laptop. The chapter mostly focuses on Christian and Valerie struggling with their blossoming feelings for each other, and the next one after that, they return to Wonderland on a flipping sea adventure. I was so excited for people to read it, but now I don't know...
I checked out the link on Amazon and the plagiarized copy isn't coming up, so I don't know if the many e-mails from my angry and influential relatives got the copier to take it down or what. I'm kind of waiting for more information on that subjects, and while I'd hate it if something like this happened again, I just may continue posting if the problem has been solved for now. Shining Armour is nearly done anyway, a whopping 312 pages on the word file I have it in, well past my goal of just 300. Then I have to work on the sequel... gosh I'm keeping myself busy.
On a fanfiction note, I updated Cross Ice today at like four thirty in the morning, so that's there as well. I have to work on the next chapter of that, too, where Snow may or may not get her second Shugo Chara and has a little chat with Mr. Tsukiyomi there. Heheheh, just thinking about what I have in store for those two makes me chuckle like a villain. I love writing.
NOW ON TO MY LIFE. I'm watching my neighbour's cat for some of the summer, and her name is Lilac. She's a calico, and very sick, so I have to force-feed her meds and whatnot. It's horrible, but sometimes it makes me want to snicker. She's adorable and very friendly, and I love how I'm getting paid to watch a cat. This is great.
I got my report card, as well. HAHA STRAIGHT As BITCHES. ACTUALLY THREE A PLUSES AND ONE A. So for passing with flying colours, my family got me a 3DS and the new Animal Crossing game. My updates have been so late because of that. I have been unable to put it down, it's so fun. I finally was able to get rid of my bowl-cut in the game since the salon finally moved in to town (if you have no idea what I'm talking about, Google it or something). And I keep taking screencaps of ridiculous stuff, like how I get stuck in pitfalls almost every day. *Sigh*
It probably isn't hard to imagine, but I also have a PS3 that I play pretty consistently. I beat the game Tales Of Graces F, finally. It was such a good game, and I loved it to bits, and I honestly recommend it to anyone who likes anime or RPGs. Also, I got the game produced by Studio Ghibli, Nii No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. It's pretty rad so far, and the graphics are amazing. I can't wait to play it more.
I AM WATCHING AN ANIME CALLED KAMISAMA NO INAI NICHIYOUBI (or The Sunday Without God) AND I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO STOP CRYING BECAUSE OF THE THIRD EPISODE. LIKE I SOBBED AND WAILED LIKE A BABY. I HAVE SEEN IT THREE TIMES AND IT ISN'T GETTING BETTER. IT HAS EMOTIONALLY DESTROYED ME FOREVER. IT'S SO GOOD I WOULD SAY TO WATCH IT, BUT IT'S SO SAD I WOULD SAY TO NOT. JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT I DON'T CRY VERY OFTEN AND THAT THIS ANIME HAS MY HEART IN SMITHEREENS.
That's pretty much it for now. I hope I can keep posting Shining Armour, and you guys can keep reading it.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-CHAAAAANGES
HEY Y'ALL. So Crimrose is finally back; I just had to study for exams and took a break from writing for a while \(`0´)/. But now I have returned, along with updates to Shining Armour on both Noveljoy and Fictionpress. Le links: http://www.fictionpress.com/s/3088931/18/ and http://noveljoy.com/readChapter?id=17333. Now, some of you may have noticed that I changed the name of the blog, along with a few other stuff. This is simply because I realized that I am not only talking about Shining Armour, so there was really no point in making the blog all about it. Now I shall be talking about all of my works, which consist of both original novels and fanfictions
ヾ(*⌒ヮ⌒*)ゞ This is something to be excited about because, let's face it, I'm hilarious.
ANYWAY. Time for fanfiction talk. I have started up a new Shugo Chara fanfiction on fanfiction.net (clearly), and for those of you who do not know what Shugo Chara is, it is an anime and this does not concern you. Basically, it is about my main character, an OC I like to call Snow Hisayuki, and she's just moving to a new town. Her character is very interesting, a contradiction between light and happy and trouble and disturbed, and she has no sense of direction, so she's always getting in to crappy situations. She wishes to find herself, and guess what that means? OH YEAH SHE GIVES BIRTH TO SOME EGGS THAT CONTAIN LITTLE EMBODIMENTS OF HER TRUE SELF (I'm having a ball here). In short, it's going to be interesting and amusing, and at times a little dark and sad, but it's going to be a giggly and emotional ride for me, for sure. Here is a link if you wish to check it out: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9394928/1/Cross-Ice. HAHAHA YES I DID DRAW THE COVER IMAGE, AND I WAS TOO LAZY TO DRAW A BACKGROUND SO I JUST SCREWED AROUND IN PAINT, WHICH IS WHY IT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS DONE BY A DERANGED DEER.
Now, what's new in Crimrose's life? Where to start. Oh yes, summer vacation has started, and while I may have promised quicker updates, I may be a liar since I am a lazy-ass and sleep in until 3 p.m. Bad for my health, yes, but... actually there are no benefits. Huh.
The day after exams were finished, a friend of mine held a party to celebrate the start of summer. I attended and had a ball, and it was a freaking cheese-themed pool party, so there was cheese, and there was swimming (I have weird friends). I enjoyed flopping around like a dying goose, and then eating weird cheeses I had never heard of before, and yeah, it was great. THAT IS UNTIL I STARTED FREAKING BURNING ALIVE. I say this while trying not to cry, but right near the end I noticed that my shoulders were completely red, a sure sign of sunburn. So I started freaking out and dove back into the pool, holding my shoulders to try and not get them burned any more. God, I'm such a flipping dumbass... what kind of logic was that... of course, the opposite of what I intended happened. Instead of not getting burned any more...
I GOT MY HANDPRINTS BURNT INTO MY SHOULDERS.
YEAH.
So I'm walking around while proudly displaying my lovely tan-line, which consists of marks from my bathing suit straps and FUCKING WHITE HANDPRINTS (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻. WHY OH WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA. JUST WHY.
That's pretty much all I have to report on for now. I'm sure that I'll have more misadventures to report as the summer carries on, because I have about as much coordination as screaming cheese, which does not do anything good for me when I go camping or to foreign places. Like two summer ago, I went to Niagara Falls with a friend, and we were outside the 3D theatre, and there was a guy dressed like a Reeses peanut butter cup advertising with children. Since I ignored him, he thought it'd be fun to get in my face and keep bugging me. So I started running down the hill we were loitering on, and sure enough, I looked back to find him RUNNING AFTER ME. It still haunts my nightmares to this day...

I Do What I Want!
Hey everybody, it's time for a Crimrose Update! *Catchy news music plays* Nah, just kidding. But anyway, Shining Armour has been updated on both Fictionpress and Noveljoy, and I consider this a huge accomplishment because I got that sucker done in like a week. Also, I feel the need to address that while I am posting it to these sites, I am writing this book on a Word program on my laptop. If we take into account the font size, spaces between new chapters, fancy little logos I use for breaks in time... we come to a total of 271 pages. My goal was originally 300 at the most, but it's quite evident that I'm going to exceed that. BOOYAH! So, just for clarification, book one is going to be reaching its end soon, sadly. But not to fear! Like I already mentioned (I think) this is a series, which means there is going to be a second for sure. Ugh, and I can't wait to write the second one. Things get a lot more interesting.
To sum things up without much of a spoiler, this chapter is pretty much Val and Christian tripping balls because of the pixie dust and getting into a bunch of whacked situations. And then, they finally reach the Guardian's shrine, but a trial awaits them before they can meet them.
BY THE WAY. This chapter is titled "The Goddess Of Bronze" and throughout the chapter, Christian comments on how he can smell metal, and then they eventually find pieces of bronze littered about, then there are bronze statues of the Guardian at their shrine. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHO THE GUARDIAN IS, READ NO FURTHER. Anywho, if you already know that the Guardian is the goddess Cel, you might want to know where the bronze comes in. So here's a few idle facts about her: Cel is the Etruscan goddess of earth, who is also known as 'Cel Ati', which means mother earth. On the western shores of lake Perugia, there is a bronze statue of her erected there. So I simply made a connection with our world and Wonderland by placing bronze statues of her around the shrine.
On a completely different note, since this is my blog and I do what I want, here's the clothes I designed for the Venus De Milo in art class:

Why? BECAUSE I CAN.
Also. I cut my finger on a broken glass while doing dishes (and I curse whoever thought it was a good idea to put a broken glass in the sink). It hurts like a mother, and tastes like pennies. Why do I know what pennies taste like, you may ask? BECAUSE I WAS A STUPID KID, THAT'S WHY.
Oh oh oh, and, this upcoming Saturday I'm going to an anime convention they hold in Toronto, Anime North. I'm going to feel like such a nerd since I'm dressing up as Hatsune Miku in her and Kaito's Cantarella video, but hey, I'll have a friend with me so we can be embarrassed together. But I'm going to be hot in my costume that I have to wear a hoop skirt for. Yeah. A hoop skirt. I pity the women who had to wear actual dresses like that way back when.
That's pretty much all I have for an update and OHMIGOD there's a really loud wind blowing against my house while I'm writing this and I'm scared because I hate thunderstorms o(╥﹏╥)o

I'm So Sleep Deprived That I Posted This Once Without Changing The Font Or Giving It A Title
Hey everybody! After what felt like an eternity, I finally managed to finish Chapter XV of Shining Armour, and it is now up on both fictionpress and noveljoy! Now this chapter gets just a little gory, though it may vary from person to person. However Chapter XVI should be just a tad lighter, because as what was written at the end of Chapter XV implied, Christian and Valerie have just been infected with... pixie dust. As you can probably tell, the essence of a purely magical creature will not, under any circumstance, have a good effect on mortals and mages alike. It's going to be interesting, that's for sure, and a lot like Ren and Stimpy.
On a completely different note, I just finished reading a manga that was an insanely creepy parody of Cinderella. At the end, when the prince and Cinderella were married, the prince turned into a giant spider and ate her. This reminded me a lot of Feryia, so I just thought I should share it with you ψ(`∇´)ψ I laughed when I saw the resemblance.
Now, the terror that comes with being in high school is quickly approaching: EXAMS. My exams start near the end of June, so if my updates come a lot later than usual and are not plentiful, please assume that I am not a complete slacker and am studying (have to keep up my A average, after all... which will be a trial indeed in science). However, right after exams is the epitome of every high schooler's life: SUMMER. FREAKING. VACATION. While I am not completely lounging around like a total lazy-ass, I will definitely have plenty of time to write and update. So consider that as a type of compensation after my lack thereof during exams. I am so excited... but then not really, because I still have to do forty community involvement hours... agh, school is dumb.So that's just a little something to look forward to in the future, if you really enjoy my story and cannot wait for updates (((*°▽°*)八(*°▽°*)))♪
By the way, my friend and I were running down our high school hallway (which was empty, thank the lord) belting out the Pokémon theme song. Just thought you should know.

This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Caves
Hello everybody! It'sa me, Crimrose, back for yet another update! As most of you know, chapter XIV has been published online recently, and it's already gotten quite a few views :) So thanks for that. In light of this, I've been trying not to get distracted and work on chapter XV, in which Valerie and Christian continue their trek to the Guardian's shrine and run into more trouble... and weird things start happening with Valerie and her body, all after a strange dream. I suggest that you don't forget that, as it is very important to the story :)
*Sigh* It's time to vent. The other day in art class, we began learning about art history, starting at the cave man area (the name escapes me, sorry for being unprofessional). Their cave drawings inspired me for a certain scene in book two of Rune Knight, Blazing Soul. So keep a look-out for that ;)
Anyhow. For those of you who read my previous post, remember that guy I proclaimed as my rival? Yeah, you could say he's the class clown. And my art teacher thought it would be the best idea ever to let us run around outside to gather sticks and stuff like that to create our own paintbrushes, like the Neanderthals. You can imagine how that went, letting a bunch of teenage kids run around with sticks on a nice day ヘ(;´Д`ヘ) She isn't the brightest Crayola in the pack.
When we got back inside with our homemade paintbrushes, we were given this long strip of paper, kind of like a banner, and our teacher proclaimed that it was our cave, and we were to mimic the style of cavemen and paint on the walls with earthy colours. My rival made a diagram of one caveman betting another to take on a bear with his bare hands, then the diagram showed them at his grave later on (he could've just drawn a pretty bird and tree like me, but noooooo). Then another girl I'm friends with in my group paints her entire hand and slaps it on the paper. We all started a chorus of "AWWWWWWWWWW" and since I was Momma Caveman, I said, "You are BANISHED!" And my rival said, "See, THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE CAVES!"
Later on that same girl drew a picture of a stick figure being crushed by a boulder. My friend and I proclaimed that it was her brother and my son, Ugh's, memorial.
So you can see that we are an imaginative bunch. Just keep waiting until the next update if you want to hear more about my misadventures, and learn more about Rune Knight!

Crimrose's Eventful Day
Hello, my viewers! First of all, I want to say that for those of you who don't know already, Shining Armour has been updated! Chapter XIV is now complete and up on both FictionPress and Noveljoy :D Here are the links:
http://www.fictionpress.com/s/3088931/15/Shining-Armour
http://noveljoy.com/readChapter?id=12692
Anyway, today I'm going for a change of pace. It will hardly be as interesting as my story, but a blog is a blog, So I decided to tell you about my... "eventful" day today.
So as some of you may already be aware of, I'm still a student in high school, weird as that may seem. Right now I'm currently in my second semester, and my classes are a lot easier than last semester -_- Though I still dislike Science. Immensely.
You can imagine that still being in high school gives me a lot more opportunities to find out who I want to be, and what I want to be, who my real friends are... you know, clichéd stuff like that. But be that as it may, there's bound to be a lot of unhappy or depressing times, or embarrassing times. I am no exception. In fact, I may be a more serious case of high school terror because of how socially awkward I am.
Anyway. So each morning, since I carpool with my friend who's dad starts work really early, we arrive at our high school at around seven thirty despite classes actually starting at 8:45. This gives us plenty of time to explore and goof around, though we normally just lounge around in the hall showing each other stupid pictures and videos (you know you have no social life when...). Our school is both a high school and a middle school, so the younger kids participate in our clubs and such. This morning, however, they were in band.
AND MY GOD THEY ARE TERRIBLE.
I mean no offence, because I'm usually a nice person, but hearing the most crappy version of Viva La Vida being played so early in the morning is never a good start to your day. I was ready to shoot my ears off. This only made worse by my friends being goofballs when a guy we know had the unluckiest time of his life by strolling in to his locker, right by where we hang out. He got dragged into their shenanigans, and I'm the type that just sits in the background and shakes my head at them. So no help from me there.
My first period class is English, and right now we're doing a Shakespeare unit on A Midsummer Night's Dream. Our teacher pretty much just gives us the script and we read it out, no acting necessary. I just so happened to sign up for the part of Titania, queen of the fairies, today, and she has the most lines out of anyone so far. I have terrible stage fright, so I humiliated myself by tripping over the words and phrases of Shakespearian language, goddammit. But wait, it gets worse.
In my second period art class, I have two of my best friends whom I hang out with a lot, the aforementioned friend I carpool with and someone I know from middle school. However, he is EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND AN EGOMANIAC. So he's always saying things like, "I'm so awesome," and "No one is as cool as me". Since I've known him for a while, I know well enough to give a witty retort that usually just makes him grumble. You can imagine that we've developed a sort of rivalry, so he decided to steal my manga pencil (a pencil I bought with this manga set), and that pencil is like the ring from Lord of The Rings to me, and I am Golem. IT IS MY FREAKING PRECIOUS.
So naturally, I got upset. I tried bargaining for it, and eventually, he said: "Fine, fine, let me see your iPod so I can write my demands in a note." I grumbled but handed it over, and he was on it for a few minutes. When I finally get it back, all I see was this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzyWbSt6l3s
IT WAS THE GODDAMN HE-MAN INTERNET TROLL. AND HE WAS ALL, "MWAHAHAHA, YOU'LL NEVER GET YOUR PENCIL BACK!"
(I understand that this may be boring to you, but bear with me, as I am venting.)
It was the worst thing ever, and my other friend couldn't stop laughing. I did, however, get my pencil back by giving him the silent treatment. Yes! But he's probably going to try and steal it again, so now my pencil case is under like the heaviest security I can manage (AKA constantly watching him and making sure he doesn't try anything stupid).
Next period is the one I hate most this semester, Science. I don't have anything against the interesting subjects, like space or biology, but right now we're doing a chemistry unit and I'm about ready to swan dive out the window and summon some sort of magical troll to take me away, I don't know. But today we were making observations about these suspicious substances in beakers, like how they looked and smelt. There were 23 students, but only 20 beakers, so three of us sat out and worked on something else until the rest finished. Of course I was one of the exiles doing something else, with that IRRITATING RIVAL of mine, and I tied his hair in a ponytail to mock him. It was quite funny.
Turns out that, when I finished the other work and got to do the circuit, the "suspicious substances" in the beakers were just regular things you could find around the house (except for maybe sulphur). But the first one I travelled to was alcohol, and I took a big whiff and started gagging, earning some weird looks. Then I got into an argument with some kid about ginger... sigh, it was a long period.
Since about half of my family is French and commonly speaks in that language, the subject French comes pretty easily to me. My friend and I finished all our work early (because we are geniuses) and started playing the Dictionary Game. For those who don't know, it's this ridiculous game where you get a dictionary, say someone you know's name, and flip to a random page and describe them with the first word you see. They were all relatively funny, and we were causing a major disruption, but our French teacher is flippant and didn't really care.
So my friend decided to do my dictionary description. She was all, "Abby is... *flips to random page*... squat."
Standing at about five foot two, I flipped and was raging.
So yeah, that's a day in the life of Crimrose. I apologize if I bored you, but honestly, sometimes you just gotta let stuff out or you'll explode (for example, my rival called me a shark today. That is not okay). I at least hope my misadventures gave you a good laugh.

An Update And Inspiration
Hey everybody! It's Crimrose4All, actually keeping up with her blog :O Imagine that. I'm a huge procrastinator, so you know, so actually updating blogs like this is a big step for me.
I'm writing today to give the followers of Rune Knight: Shining Armour an update. I'm currently writing Chapter XIV as quickly as I can, slow as it is, and I think it'll be done soon :) I just have to add a few finishing touches and details, then it'll be ready to post on both FictionPress (http://www.fictionpress.com/s/3088931/1/Shining-Armour) and Noveljoy (http://noveljoy.com/articleInfowithcomment?id=867). This chapter is all about Valerie, my main character, and Christian, the hot guy she's been travelling with, adventuring through the Region of earth, Wyldyet. They encounter strange beings and get into danger on their way to see the Guardian, the god of Wyldyet, but somehow it just ends up drawing them closer. What awaits these two in the depths of the enchanted forest...?
Now, some of you may already know this, but on top of being a starving author and an avid reader, I'm also a bit of an artist. My characters provide a lot of muse to me, so whenever I'm listening to a song that I feel expresses the story or if I get sudden inspiration, I will draw them :3 I'm definitely not a professional, but hey, I try. So here's a picture I sketched today:
Yes, I draw anime, sue me. I may not be very good at it, but I love doing it very much :) In case you wanted to read the small words that I happened to stick with it, here's what they say:
However, the further we move ahead, the stronger the wind gets,
And so the flame of hope starts to go out.
"Hand over the light!" The people scramble for it,
And once it comes to this, people kill each other,
Their tears dried.
Notice it.
Your eyes are for acknowledging each other.
Your voice is to convey your feelings.
Your hand is to hold with the one who is precious to you.
I can hear this song coming to me.
All of you who have nowhere to go,
Hope is in your hearts
Because even in blazing flames,
It gives you a strength
That will never be scathed.
Are those things you tried to protect
The things you truly loved?
You gaze at your hand dyed in crimson
And finally realize the foolishness you have committed,
Admit it to be a mistake, and
Cry without an end for your sins
This is a song by EGOIST, called The Everlasting Guilty Crown. It's one of my favourite songs, and here's a link if you want to check it out:
